Brownies

  • Butter: 1 Cup (2 sticks)
  • Brown Sugar: 1 Cup
  • White Sugar: 1 Cup
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 Tablespoon
  • Eggs: 2
  • All Purpose Flour: 1 1/2 Cups
  • Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Baking Soda: 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cocoa: 1 Cup
  • Chocolate Chips: 1 Cup
  1. Mix wet items (Butter, Vanilla, Eggs) into sugar with mixer in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix dry items together (Flour, Cocoa, Baking Soda, Salt) and then add to the wet mixing bowl.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Rub some additional butter on the bottom and sides of a 9×12 baking pan and sprinkle lightly with some additional flour.
  5. Roll out the mixture into the 9×12 pan – make sure to put the mixture along the edges of the pan first and then fill in the middle.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for twenty minutes or until a toothpick can be poked in without any uncooked batter sticking.
